The SIFT courses offered are composed of five modules, namely, the common basic course module focusing on the training in general qualities and fundamental abilities; the common basic disciplinary module focusing on broadening and strengthening specialty base, enhancing students’ theoretical quality and employment adaptability; the specialty course module focusing on students’ specialty knowledge learning and abilities training, optional course module focusing on enhancing students’ competitiveness and adaptability on international business and practice module focusing on the training and development of students’ practical abilities.

  

The common basic courses are compulsory for all students, as required by the Ministry of Education (MOE) or by our institute. They focus on the training in general qualities and fundamental abilities. They include Marxist theories, mentality and morality training, physical education, college Chinese, college English, computer applications and higher mathematics. The common basic disciplinary courses include basic theoretical courses and courses embodying the SIFT overall features of “General business Majors”, which are compulsory to all the students studying the same discipline. They focus on broadening and strengthening specialty base, enhancing students' theoretical quality and employment adaptability. The major courses include the core courses of the major’s basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills. They are compulsory for major students. The optional courses are those aiming at optimizing students’ knowledge structure and enhancing their comprehensive qualities. They can also enhance students’ competitiveness and adaptability on international business; the practice courses focus on the training and development of students’ practical abilities. They include simulation training, career planning and development, military training, social practice, term paper, internship and graduation theses.
