The School of Law is at the forefront of international law research in China and has hosted or co-hosted many international and domestic academic conferences on international economic law and financial law. In recent years. Our faculty members have been active in high-quality research and awarded research project grants by the National Social Science Fund of China, the Ministry of Education, and the Shanghai Municipal Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences, focusing on frontier issues in law, international politics, and administrative management. They have also published many high-quality research papers, and have played a good role as a think tank by drafting decision-making consultation reports of the faculty members in law and international politics, which have been adopted by relevant departments or approved by national leaders. Home to research institutions including the International Trade Law Research Center, Financial Law Research Center, Legal Practice Research Center, Public Policy and Social Development Research Center, and International Strategy and Policy Analysis Institute, the School regularly publishes academic journals such as Journal of International Trade Law.
