On May 16, Graduate Academic Forum themed on AI-driven financial reform and open connectivity was successfully held at the Changning Campus. The forum was jointly organized by the School of Finance of SUIBE and the School of Finance of Zhejiang Gongshang University.

Wang Rongming, President of SUIBE, Ding Zhongming, former President of Anhui University of Finance and Economics and Deputy Director of the Financial Discipline Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, Zhang Jinqing, member of the 8th Review Group for Applied Economics Disciplines of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and Executive Deputy Director of the Shanghai Professional Degree Graduate Education Guidance Committee for Finance, Zhang Zhiguo, President of Daguan Data Co., Ltd., and Wang Qingyi, former Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Institution Sales Department of Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd., attended the conference.

Wang Rongming briefed on SUIBE’s history and current development. He stated that this forum is a concrete action of the university to actively align with the national strategy of building a strong financial nation and to deeply advance the comprehensive reform of education. He hopes that all attendees will deepen cooperation and make progress together through this forum, jointly explore new models for financial talent cultivation, and write a new chapter for financial academic research.
During a keynote report session, Ding Zhongming, Zhang Jinqing, Zhang Zhiguo, and Wang Qingyi delivered keynote speeches respectively on the themes of “Reflections on Financial Support for Achieving the ‘Dual Carbon’ Goals,” “University Significance, the Application of What Is Learned and Career Development,” “Deepening AI-driven Financial Reform: Intelligent Audit and Intelligent Brain Integration,” and “Responding to Changing Circumstances with Constancy.”

During a journal editor roundtable, editors from multiple journals conducted discussions on graduate academic research and common issues and coping strategies in journal paper submissions. They provided professional guidance on topic selection directions, research methods, writing norms, and review processes, and analyzed hotspots and difficulties in current academic publishing with real-life cases.
