SUIBE Approved for First “Silk Road” Chinese Government Scholarship Program

Recently, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the results of the 2026 “Silk Road” Chinese Government Scholarship Program. SUIBE’s “Belt and Road” Global Business and Financial Innovation Talent Cultivation Program has been successfully approved. This marks the first time SUIBE has received approval for the program, and the number of fully-funded scholarships hit a record high.

Leveraging SUIBE’s strengths in applied economics, the program focuses on global business and cross-border finance, aligning closely with the national strategy of opening-up and Shanghai’s “Five Centers” development. It primarily recruits students from Belt and Road partner countries and offers three degree programs: Undergraduate in International Economics and Trade, Undergraduate in Finance, and Master of Finance. The program is committed to cultivating high-quality international talents who are knowledgeable about and friendly toward China, with a global perspective and cross-cultural competence.
