On April 24, Mădălin Octavian Bunoiu, Vice President of West University of Timișoara, Romania, Claudiu Boțoc, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration visited SUIBE. Jiang Xiuzhen, Vice President of SUIBE, met with the delegation at the Changning Campus.
Jiang Xiuzhen extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced SUIBE’s educational features, talent cultivation, disciplinary layout, and international development. She hopes that, taking this high-level meeting as a new starting point, the two universities will fully integrate strengths, innovate cooperation models, and explore more possibilities in faculty and student exchanges, academic research, and joint talent cultivation, so as to create benchmark projects in China-Romania economic and educational cooperation and contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative and China-CEEC cooperation.
Mădălin Octavian Bunoiu briefed on the development and achievements of West University of Timișoara. He noted that the two universities are highly similar in economics and business disciplines, and both regard internationalization as a core development strategy. He hopes that the two sides will focus on advancing faculty and student exchanges, joint talent cultivation, and collaborative research in the future.
Dean Claudiu Boțoc shared the basic information about the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at West University of Timișoara.
The two universities held in-depth discussions on specific cooperation areas, including short-term student exchanges, joint cultivation programs, online course collaboration, mutual faculty visits, and collaborative research.
