On April 7th, SUIBE President Wang Rongming held a symposium at the Changning Campus with Wang Xiulong, Chairman of Shanghai ZhenghengQida Business Consulting Co., Ltd., and General Manager Luo Zhiqi.
Wang Rongming stated that SUIBE always grounds itself in serving national strategies such as high-level opening up, leverages its distinctive advantages in foreign trade and economics studies, and actively explores the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents in these disciplines, the construction of characteristic think tanks, and the innovation in enterprise-university collaboration. He expects both sides to carry out pragmatic cooperation in joint talent training and co-construction of branded training programs, jointly supplying high-quality talents for industry development, and contributing to accelerating the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade and promoting the high-quality economic and social development of the region.
Wang Xiulong introduced his company’s development history and core advantages in supporting government and enterprise investment promotions as well as industrial project implementation across China. He looks forward to establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism with SUIBE through this exchange, which would help match resources between SUIBE and the enterprise and boost their complementary advantages. He also hopes that the two sides can jointly set a great example of university-enterprise collaboration in serving high-quality development.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and reached consensus on issues such as university-enterprise collaborative education, targeted talent cultivation, and deep integration of enterprises, universities, research institutes, and end users.
