Recently, the undergraduate program in International Economics and Trade at SUIBE officially passed the international accreditation of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), with an initial accreditation period of three years. As a “gold standard” in global management education, EFMD accreditation serves as a key benchmark for assessing the international competitiveness of business programs. This accreditation marks the program’s formal entry into the ranks of world-class education.

Building on its status as a National First-Class Undergraduate Major Program, the International Economics and Trade program integrates global vision, cross-cultural competence and sustainable development literacy into the whole process of talent training. Grounded in the six values of MASTER, the program focuses on cultivating compound talents with “ULTRA characteristics.” It has established a distinctive talent development framework supported by a four-track parallel curriculum system, a dual-mentor system, the ERS philosophy as its value orientation, and a closed-loop quality assurance mechanism. These innovative practices have become the core cornerstone for the program to secure the internationally authoritative EFMD certification.
