SUIBE Leadership Extends Holiday Greetings to Students on Campus

On February 15th, the eve of the Chinese New Year of the Horse, Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE Qi Ming, and Deputy Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE and Vice President Shen Yi, led a delegation to the “One-stop” Student Community on Songjiang Campus, and celebrated the Chinese New Year with representatives of students staying on campus during the winter vacation, representatives of relevant administrative departments and faculty members.


On behalf of the university, Qi Ming extended Spring Festival greetings and best wishes to all students staying on campus, kindly inquired about their study and life during the vacation. He commended them for making the most of their holiday time—continuing their studies, taking on internships, and participating in work-study programs. He stated that the university always cares about the students staying on campus, with all departments making every effort to provide comprehensive services and support, ensuring the students “feel at home” on campus. He encouraged the students would make full use of the vacation to relax, experience the festive atmosphere, and prepare for the new semester with renewed energy. He also urged them to proactively adapt to the times, embrace technological changes, integrate themselves into the university’s broader efforts to deepen comprehensive educational reform, and continuously improve their overall competencies and core competitiveness through learning and exploration.


At the tea party, students shared their experiences of studying and living during the winter vacation on campus. They expressed that the university’s meticulous arrangements and continuous care made them feel the warmth of home on campus. They added that this heartfelt sentiment would inspire them to move forward with renewed drive and vigor in the Year of the Horse.


During the event, faculty members and students jointly wrote New Year wishes and posted them on a “wishing wall”. The venue was filled with a warm and lively atmosphere. faculty members and students shared and read poems to each other, exchanging festive greetings that blended traditional charm with tech-inspired elements—a heartwarming scene where tradition and modernity came together.


At the end of the activity, SUIBE leadership presented the book The Spiritual Pursuit of Chinese Civilization to student representatives, encouraging students to draw spiritual strength from the fine traditional Chinese culture.
