On January 27th, Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE Qi Ming and Vice President Jiang Xiuzhen led a delegation to conduct special research at Zhejiang Gongshang University. Chairman of the University Council of Zhejiang Gongshang University Fu Guanfu, President Wang Yonggui, Deputy Chairman of the University Council of Zhejiang Gongshang University Yuan Jinxiang, and heads of relevant administrative departments joined the meeting.


Fu Guanfu extended a warm welcome to Qi Ming and his delegation, and briefly introduced the history, educational mission and overall development of Zhejiang Gongshang University. He noted that both universities share a common focus on economics and finance, with much in common in educational philosophies, development paths and educational goals. He expressed his hope that this research visit would serve as a bridge to further strengthen inter-university communication, resource sharing and mutual learning, so that the two sides can jointly explore new ideas and paths for the high-quality development of finance and economics universities.

Wang Yonggui comprehensively introduced the school-running philosophy, basic overview and development achievements of Zhejiang Gongshang University, and focusing on the university’s valuable experience in building a high-level disciplinary system, promoting interdisciplinary integration, cultivating innovative talents through the dual drive of “AI+” and “Humanities+”, advancing enterprise-university integration and the construction of industrial colleges, empowering digital transformation, conducting international education, and compiling SUIBE 15th five-year plan, which provided useful reference for SUIBE’s related work.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges and discussions on the overall thinking, indicator setting and resource allocation for the compilation of the “15th Five-Year Plan”, the construction of characteristic colleges and innovative practices of industry-education integration, the empowerment of artificial intelligence in education and teaching reform, the construction of scientific research innovation platforms and achievement transformation, and the optimization and quality improvement of the postgraduate training system.
