On the afternoon of November 19, SUIBE held an online meeting of the Confucius Classroom Council with the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice (VSTE). The meeting was co-hosted by SUIBE President and Chinese Chairman of the Confucius Classroom Wang Rongming, and Marek Vochozka, President of VSTE and Foreign Chairman of the Confucius Classroom.
Wang Rongming reviewed the cooperation achievements between the two universities at the council meeting, stating that under the sincere cooperation of both sides and the joint efforts of the Chinese and foreign deans, VSTE Confucius Class has achieved positive results in promoting Chinese language teaching, spreading Chinese culture, deepening the cooperation between the two universities, and promoting mutual understanding between the Chinese and people from the Czech Republic.
Marek Vochozka highly commended the educational quality and brand cultural activities of VSTE Confucius Class, noting that it enjoys strong local popularity and that the cooperation between the two institutions rests on a solid foundation and has yielded notable results.
During the meeting, all council members heard, reviewed and approved the 2025 annual work summary and 2026 annual work plan of VSTEConfucius Class. Both sides unanimously recognized the significant contributions made by VSTE Confucius Class to advancing Chinese language education, fostering academic collaboration between Chinese and Czech universities, and strengthening bilateral friendship, particularly among the youth. Both parties expected to build on these achievements to deepen and expand the cooperation between the two institutions across broader fields.
