SUIBE Receives Visiting Delegation from RMIT University

On the morning of November 7, a delegation from Australia's RMIT University visited SUIBE. The delegation included Sherman Young, Vice President of RMIT University, EmmaSteinke, Deputy Director of International Partnerships, WilliamPeng, International Affairs Manager (Greater China), and ProfessorPremChhetri, Strategic Academic Director of the College of Business and Law. SUIBE Vice President  XuYonglin met with the guests at the Songjiang Campus.



XuYonglin extended a warm welcome to the delegation and spoke highly of the progress made by both universities in advancing curriculum alignment for new Sino-foreign cooperative programs in the early stage. He stated that this high-level dialogue would serve as an opportunity to upgrade bilateral cooperation from “project-based collaboration” to “systematic co-construction,” jointly creating a new model for Sino-foreign higher education cooperation.



Sherman Young expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized that SUIBE is a highly valued strategic partner of RMIT among its global collaborators. He noted that RMIT University takes pride in the solid cooperative foundation established over the years and expressed confidence and anticipation for further expanding cooperation areas, enhancing collaboration levels, and particularly for jointly establishing Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions.



During the meeting, both sides held constructive discussions on key topics including the optimization of cooperative education mechanisms, the innovation of talent cultivation models, faculty exchange programs and joint research collaboration. These discussions have laid a solid foundation for promoting the implementation of strategic cooperation in the next stage.
