On the afternoon of July 25th, the closing ceremony of SUIBE’s “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp for Students from Confucius Institutes (Classrooms) was held at the Changning Campus. Vice President of SUIBE Xu Yonglin and other attendees jointly witnessed the fruitful achievements of the campers’ two-week journey in China. A total of 48 college and middle school students from three Confucius Institutes and Classrooms participated in the ceremony.

Xu Yonglin extended a warm welcome to all campers and congratulated them on successfully completing the camp. In his speech, he elaborated on SUIBE’s accomplishments in talent cultivation and discipline development, as well as the advantages of its scholarship policies. He encouraged the campers to choose SUIBE for further studies, hoping them can continue their efforts in learning Chinese, so as to become envoys for Sino-foreign exchanges.

During achievements showcase session, campers shared their learning gains. Some presented carefully crafted Vlogs, which vividly documented their explorations of culture in Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai. Xu Yonglin then presented completion certificates to the campers and took group photos with them.
