SUIBE Leadership Led Delegation to HKTDC for Research on Joint Development of Platforms Serving Enterprises Expanding Overseas

Recently, Qi Ming, Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, led the “SUIBE·New Vision” summer social practice team to the Shanghai Representative Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to conduct a special research project focusing on the development of platforms serving enterprise planning to expand overseas”.

At a seminar, Lui Kin, Chief Representative of HKTDC for East China, provided a detailed overview of the Council’s innovative practices in supporting mainland enterprises’ overseas expansion. These practices form a full-chain service ecosystem covering international market information matching, cross-border financing support, and legal risk advance warning.

Qi Ming shared updates on SUIBE’s latest developments and its distinctive features in school-running. He expressed the expectation that both sides could jointly establish a four-dimensional collaborative mechanism integrating “research cooperation, talent cultivation, platform construction, and project matching,” and work together to create a research ecosystem where academic insights and practical expertise empower each other. This mechanism, he noted, would transform HKTDC’s global network advantages and SUIBE’s disciplinary innovation strengths into a strong synergy for supporting enterprises’ overseas expansion.

Subsequently, SUIBE team members engaged in in-depth discussions with HKTDC experts, focusing on key pain points faced by enterprises during their overseas expansion.
