He emphasized SUIBE’s strong commitment to cultivating high-level talent in export control, which has been identified as a strategic priority in SUIBE’s new comprehensive reform plan. By integrating multidisciplinary resources, SUIBE has established a dual-supervisor system combining theoretical and practical expertise, and is building a fully integrated industry-education training system. Wang Rongming called on government agencies to strengthen policy guidance, experts and scholars to contribute intellectual support, and industries to deepen enterprise-university collaboration. He proposed joint efforts to establish a new hub for export control talent development in the Yangtze River Delta, contributing to both national economic security and high-level opening-up.
Luan Dapeng from the Bureau of Industry Security and Import-Export Control of the Ministry of Commerce, Director of the Higher Education Division of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Yang Jie, and Deputy Director of the Foreign Trade Development Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce Yan Haiyan delivered addresses. They expressed expectations and offered suggestions for SUIBE’s efforts to strengthen disciplinary development in export control, deepen industry-education integration and university-enterprise collaboration, and enhance the quality of talent cultivation.
Vice President of SUIBE Jiang Xiuzhen delivered the closing remarks. She emphasized that the symposium had pooled the collective wisdom of policymakers, academic researchers, and industry practitioners, providing valuable insights and recommendations for SUIBE’s high-level export control talent development initiatives. She stated that the university will seize this opportunity to further strengthen collaboration with government agencies, research institutions, and enterprises, continuously deepen education and teaching reforms, improve the collaborative education system, and cultivate more morally and professionally outstanding talents who can take on major responsibilities in export control.
