SUIBE Receives Visiting Officials from the Education Section of French Consulate General in Shanghai

On March 25^th, Wang Rongming, President of SUIBE, met with a visiting delegation led by Benjamin DEMIÈRE, an official from the Education Section of the French Consulate General in Shanghai.

President Wang extended a warm welcome to Mr. Demière and briefed on SUIBE’s development and internationalization strategy. He emphasized that SUIBE, closely aligning with the socio-economic development priorities of both China and Shanghai, will focus on the dual engines of applied economics and statistics, and actively promote the innovation in and integration of artificial intelligence and digital information technologies with its traditional academic strengths, to cultivate globally competitive talents in digital economy, international finance, international legal affairs, and future professionals for international organizations. SUIBE places great emphasis on educational opening up and international cooperation, and seeks to forge partnerships with more French universities and businesses to broaden students’ global perspectives and diversify career opportunities.

Mr.Demière expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception and specifically acknowledged SUIBE’s strong support for the French Enterprises on Campus initiative. He stated that educational cooperation serves not only as a vital link between Chinese and French higher education institutions but also as a crucial bridge for cultural mutual learning. The French Consulate General in Shanghai will actively facilitate deeper collaboration in talent cultivation and scientific innovation.

That afternoon, the French Enterprises on Campus event was successfully held. Mr.Demière and representatives from French businesses shared insights on corporate growth, talent demands, and career development.
