SUIBE Youth Faculty Association Council Holds Transition Meeting

On the afternoon of March 27th, the Youth Faculty Association Council of SUIBE held a transition meeting in Room 213 of the Information Building at the Songjiang Campus. Wu Yi, Vice Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE and Chairman of the University Trade Union, attended and delivered a speech at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Ouyang Jun, Vice Chairman of Accounting School Council and a member of the Youth Faculty Association.


WuYi expressed his gratitude to the second council members for their dedication, extended congratulations to the newly elected council members, and sent his best regards to all young faculty members. He emphasized that young faculty are a vital force in the university’s development, and the association plays a key role in fostering academic exchanges, interdisciplinary collaboration, and career support. SUIBE places great emphasis on the development of young faculty, striving to create opportunities for their all-rounded development and career advancement.


He outlined three key expectations for the association: 1) Uphold the mission of fostering virtue and talent, take on responsibilities, and enhance professional expertise; 2) Center efforts on comprehensive reforms and promote interdisciplinary collaboration to drive the university’s development; 3) Adopt a problem-oriented approach to better serve young faculty with innovative and targeted initiatives.

At the meeting, WangChunlei, Dean of the School of Exhibition and Communication, presented a work report on behalf of the second council. XuGaoxiang from the School of Business Administration spoke as a representative of the third council.


The meeting featured a commemorative ceremony for the outgoing council and the unveiling of the Youth Faculty Association's official logo.


At the first meeting of the third council, ZhuJianming was elected as the chairman, while Ouyang Jun, WangJinqiang, ChenZhiyu, and YanXin were elected as vice-chairpersons. YanXin was appointed as the secretary-general, with XuGaoxiang and Liu Yang serving as deputy secretaries-general.
