Delegation from Kanto Gakuin University Visits SUIBE

On February 25th, SUIBE President Wang Rongming met with a delegation led by Professor Hiroki Yoshida, Vice President of Japan’s Kanto Gakuin University.

Wang Rongming warmly welcomed the delegation and highlighted SUIBE’s academic strengths and recent developments, particularly its efforts to integrate AI and digital technologies with traditional disciplines and cultivate globally competitive talent in international organizations, digital economy, finance, and foreign-related legal affairs. He noted that the visit, following the trip of an SUIBE delegation to Japan in April 2024, offered an opportunity to deepen the two sides’ collaborations and explore new areas of partnership. He expressed hope for diversified innovative cooperation to expand international opportunities for students.

Hiroki Yoshida thanked SUIBE for its hospitality and emphasized the significance of SUIBE as one of Kanto Gakuin University’s four partner universities in China. He stated that the collaboration not only fosters cultural exchanges between the institutions but also strengthens ties between the cities they are respectively located. Hiroki Yoshida expressed eagerness to enhance cooperation in finance, economics, and trade.

On that afternoon, Hiroki Yoshida and Professor Keisuke Takai of Kanto Gakuin University delivered an engaging lecture on Yokohama’s cultural heritage and Japanese anime culture for SUIBE’s Japanese language faculty and students.
