From December 30th to 31st, 2024, SUIBE kicked off its 2024 fishing festival, which was planned by the General Logistics Management Office of SUIBE and hosted by the cafeterias on both Songjiang Campus and Changning Campus. At 11:38 a.m. on December 30th, SUIBE President Wang Rongming struck a bronze gong to mark the official opening of the festival.
The fishing festival was quite fruitful. In total, more than 1,150 kg of fish were caught, with a standout “Fish King” weighing an impressive 30 kg. On December 31st, the university provided faculty and students with a free winter “fish feast” for lunch.
