SUIBE Wins Silver Award in the Main Track of the 2024 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition National Finals

From October 12th to 15th, the national finals of the 2024 China International College Students' Innovation Competition were held on the Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. For the first time, SUIBE made it to the national finals on-site competition and claimed its first national finals silver award. The Intelligent CompanionPioneering Multimodal Intelligent Interactive Desktop Robot project by the School of Statistics and Information won the silver award in the postgraduate students' creative group of the main track of higher education.


On October 13th, the SUIBE team fully demonstrated the background, process, achievements and significance of the project in the presentation and defense session of the on-site competition. They answered the judges' questions fluently and convincingly, demonstrating the team's accomplishments in innovation and entrepreneurship as well as their high morale. Ultimately, they won the national silver award, marking the best performance in the university's history in the competition.

SUIBE has never missed in joining the competition since its launch in 2015. So far, the university has won 1 silver award, 3 bronze awards and 2 finalist awards in the national competition, 1 bronze award for recommended international projects, 5 gold awards, 14 silver awards and 74 bronze awards in the municipal competition, and has won the municipal “Outstanding Organization Award” for multiple times.
