Reflecting on the past year, Wang highlighted SUIBE’s accomplishments in reform and development, and the strides made in faculty development. He shared three insights on strengthening faculty development for the new era: firstly, to make a rapid march, accelerating the universitys efforts to align with the nation’s endeavor of building an educational powerhouse; secondly, to embrace the ethos of an educator, fostering “master teachers” to cultivate a high-caliber faculty; and thirdly, to leverage unique strengths through innovative development, meticulously crafting SUIBE’s educational identity.

At the meeting, Wu Yi announced the Decision Regarding the Commendations for the 2023-2024 Academic Year Teacher’s Day, and the university leadership presented certificates of honor to awardee representatives. During a ceremony in tribute to teachers retiring in the 2023-2024 academic year, Qi Ming presented commemorative plaques to representatives.
