SUIBE Hosts 17th Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition (Shanghai Final)

From July 17th to 21st, the final of the 17th Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition was held on Songjiang Campus of SUIBE. The final in Shanghai includes two categories, “Big Data Application” and “Digital Media Games and Interaction Design”. It was attended by 55 judges and the leaders of the organizing committee, and over 1,330 participants from 281 universities.

Awards were given to 446 teams after the live presentation by contestants and the professional evaluation by expert judges, including 8 firs t prizes, 59 second prizes, and 151 third prizes in the “Big Data Application” category; 9 first prizes, 62 second prizes, and 157 third prizes in the “Digital Media Games and Interaction Design” category.



SUIBE President Wang Rongming and Vice President Xu Yonglin attended the closing ceremony.


 

Wang Rongming, speaking on behalf of the organizer, SUIBE, extended his heartfelt gratitude to the organizing committee for its trust and support for SUIBE. He thanked the committee leaders and judges for their guidance, and staff and volunteers for their dedication. He also congratulated the winners.

He introduced the university’s history and educational features, hoping that SUIBE could launch close cooperation with the organizing committee, other universities as well as industries and enterprises, to explore new talent cultivation models and foster more outstanding and innovative individuals to contribute to China’s development.


 

An award ceremony was held at the closing ceremony. All the leaders, experts and judges presented the awards respectively to the teams winning the first, second and third prizes in the two categories.
