On the afternoon of 18th July, 2024, Wu Zhaoming, chairman of the University Council of Tongling University, Su Benyue, president of Tongling University, and Shu Renhua, vice president of Tongling University, led a delegation to visit SUIBE for research and further exchange between the two universities. Qi Ming, chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, Xu Yonglin, and Jiang Xiuzhen, vice presidents of SUIBE, received the delegation and attended a symposium. Qi Ming presided over the symposium.
Qi Ming warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an in-depth overview of SUIBE’s development, talents training characteristics, discipline construction, think tank services, and social contributions. He expects the two sides to carry out more practical cooperation in talent cultivation, discipline construction, enterprise-university-research institution mechanisms, etc. He hopes the two sides could establish sound cooperation mechanisms to strengthen their schooling capabilities, so as to better serve the integrated development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta and local socio-economic development.
Wu Zhaoming expressed his gratitude for SUIBE’s long-term care and support for Tongling University, and appreciated SUIBE’s contributions to building China into a trader of quality. He hopes that both sides could take the Yangtze River Delta New Business Education Alliance as a significant exchange platform to strengthen in-depth cooperation in talent training, scientific research, international exchanges, and cooperation. He also expects the two sides to closely align with the strategic needs of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and promote the high-quality regional economic and social development.
Su Benyue introduced the basic information of Tongling University, as well as its application-oriented talent training, scientific research, and faculty development. He expects that the two sides could enhance cooperation in international school running, think tank development, curriculum system reform, and academic degree program improvement.
During the symposium, Shu Renhua, Xu Yonglin, Jiang Xiuzhen, and others conducted in-depth exchanges on the topics of business specialist cultivation, curriculum system reform, discipline, and major improvement, as well as talent development.
