On July 2nd, 2024, SUIBE received Tamás Koltai, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, and Mária Szalmané Csete, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Budapest University of Technology and Economics., SUIBE President Wang Rongming and vice President Xu Yonglin met with the guests at the Gubei Campus, accompanied by Jin Quan, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, and other staff members.
Xu Yonglin extended a warm welcome to Professor Tamás Koltai and his delegation and expressed gratitude to the Budapest University of Technology and Economics for hosting an SUIBE delegation in Hungary in May this year. Following that, Xu Yonglin briefly introduced the development of SUIBE and expressed his commitment to actively supporting the implementation of the cooperation intentions reached during the talks between the two parties in Hungary.
Tamás Koltai extended gratitude to SUIBE for the ardent reception and introduced the Hungarian Government Scholarship Program, welcoming SUIBE’s faculty and students to study and exchange in Hungary. He expects to further promote various forms of cooperation between the two sides in the future.
During the meeting, both sides further exchanged views on topics in terms of joint doctoral and master’s programs, short-term study tours, exchange programs, faculty visits, and collaborative research.
Ahead of the meeting, Wang Rongming and Xu Chengbo, a teacher from the School of Physical Education and Health, joined a friendly table tennis match with Tamás Koltai, a table tennis enthusiast, at the Gubei Gymnasium.
