On the afternoon of June 21st, SUIBE held the Making China Strong, Making a Difference 2024 Summer Social Practice Mobilization Ceremony and the Launch Ceremony for the Integrated Practical Education Project Across Universities, High Schools, and Primary Schools at the Origin Lecture Hall of the Memorial Hall for the Fourth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Qi Ming, Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, along with the Memorial Hall’s Director Xu Xuechen, Vice president Jin Xiaoyan from Songjiang Yunjian Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Foreign Language School, and Party Secretary Zhang Hui from Songjiang Experimental School affiliated to SUIBE, attended this event.
Qi Ming, on behalf of the university, expressed gratitude to the collaborative partners for their strong support in SUIBE's talent cultivation endeavors. He emphasized that all practical teams should closely focus on the theme of practice, continuously enrich and explore practical content, and apply what they have learned to develop the country. Specifically, he outlined three key points: firstly, transforming social practice into a walking ideological and political course; secondly, bridging the gap between universities, high schools and primary schools, and building an integrated education community through practical education; thirdly, forging a crucible where daring and innovative youth of the new era can be tempered through practice.
Qi Ming presented flags to representatives of the practical teams, while Chen Jialin, Director of the Organization Department, awarded plaques to specialized social practice teams. Guo Qian, Director of Publicity Department, presented departure encouragement packages to representatives of SUIBE's 2024 Western China Program volunteers.
At the meeting, the Spark practical team composed of teachers and students of the Party members was officially established, and Miao Yundi, Director of the Student (Postgraduate)Affairs Office, presented plaques to representatives of the practice team.
