On the afternoon of June 12th, the signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement between SUIBE and Oriental International (Group) Co., Ltd. ( hereinafter referred to as OI Group) was successfully held at Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trade Center. Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE Qi Ming, President Wang Rongming, Vice President Xu Yonglin, and heads of relevant units, along with OI Group's Chairman Tong Jisheng, President Ji Shengjun, and Deputy Party Secretary Wang Jia, attended this ceremony.
In his speech, Qi Ming expressed gratitude to OI Group for its continuous care and strong support for the development of the university over the years. Also, he congratulated the group on its fruitful achievements in serving national strategies and promoting Shanghai's economic and social development in recent years. He hoped that this signing would serve as an opportunity for both the university and the group to work together to deepen enterprise-university integration and innovate talent cultivation models, refine scientific research cooperation to strengthen mutual empowerment, and enhance social services and think tank construction capabilities.
Tong Jisheng expressed gratitude to SUIBE for its consistent care and support for OI Group, particularly for nurturing a large number of outstanding talents for the group. He expressed his hope that the signing would accelerate OI Group's transformation from traditional trade to new forms of trade. Both parties should collaborate to establish a smooth talent mobility mechanism to promote the two-way flow of teachers, cadres, and outstanding graduates into the group, bridge the curriculum system to strengthen the integration of cutting-edge theoretical knowledge from the university with the group's trade practices, and open up strategic, operational, and tactical development paths between the university and the enterprise, thereby drawing high-quality development blueprints and actively serving the construction of a trade powerhouse.
During the meeting, Wang Rongming and Ji Shengjun introduced the background of SUIBE and OI Group, respectively. At the ceremony, Xu Yonglin, Vice President of SUIBE, and Wang Jia, Deputy Party Secretary of OI Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.
