From May 12th to 16th, Jiang Xiuzhen, Vice President of SUIBE and Dean of the School of Management, along with Associate Deans Yang Hao and Yang Junmin, attended the AMBA&BGA Global Conference for Deans and Directors and Gold-Medal Accreditation Ceremony in Budapest, Hungary, at the invitation of the organizing committee of the 2024 AMBA&BGA Global Conference.
On April 26th and 27th, the School of Management successfully passed the on-site accreditation by the BGA Expert Committee. One of the key activities of the delegation’s trip to Hungary was to receive the certificate from the BGA Committee. During the conference, the SUIBE delegation attentively listened to the keynote speech by the Chairman of the BGA Committee and engaged in in-depth discussions with the deans of business schools of many countries.
In the discussion session at the AMBA&BGA Global Conference, Jiang Xiuzhen highlighted the two major features of SUIBE’s MBA education: internationalization and digitalization, and briefed on the internationalization initiatives of the SUIBE School of Management.
Following the AMBA&BGA Global Conference, the BGA Committee sent an official congratulatory email on May 21st, congratulating the School of Management on its successful achievement of the BGA International Gold Accreditation. This marked the first time that SUIBE has attained one of the three major global business school accreditations. The School of Management will conduct a phased review of the BGA accreditation work, striving for continuous improvement in its internationalization efforts, and further enhancing the high-quality development of SUIBE.
