On May 12th, the 14 Session of Shanghai University Student Competition on International Humanitarian Issues, co-sponsored by the Red Cross Society of China Shanghai Branch and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education, concluded at the Shanghai Children's Library.The debate team of SUIBEexcelled in the competition and won the championship. It marked the second time for SUIBE to sine the title int he recent 10 years, and the third times in history.
Vice PresidentXu Yonglin congratulated the debate team on their excellent performance and affirmed their youthful vigor showed in this competition. He urged functional departments and universityto pay closer attention to the integrated development of students and build more platforms for practice, so as to empower students’all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding with a hard-working spirit.
