SUIBE Receives Visiting Delegation Led by Mo Fuchun, from Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Counselor’s Office

On the morning of 16th April, Director Mo Fuchun, along with Deputy Directors Cai Hua and ZhanYong, Counselors Gu Honghui and GuXiaomin from the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Counselor’s Office, visited SUIBE to inspect the development of the university’s think tank.


Mo Fuchun affirmed and congratulated the outstanding development of the university in recent years, especially its achievements in decision-making and consultation research. He noted that SUIBE, as a distinctive applied research-oriented university, has inherent qualities to serve strategic needs.Thanks to the university’s long-term efforts, innovation, and outstanding achievements in think tank construction, he found the experience of SUIBE’srelevant institutional mechanisms highly inspiring. He expressed the hope that the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Counselor’s Office could deepen cooperation with the Party Committee of Education and Health and SUIBE in talent cultivation, scientific research, and other areas, to better serve the high-quality development of Shanghai and the nation.

Wang Rongming warmly welcomed Mo Fuchun and his delegation, expressing sincere gratitude for the long-term care, guidance, and support from the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shanghai Municipal Government, and higher-level authorities. He briefly introduced the university’s situation and emphasized its aspiration to serve the greater good of the nation and integrate into the essential parts of Shanghai by highlighting the university’s positive role in decision-making and consultation research in recent years through long-term accumulation and institutional innovation. He also looked forward to injecting strong impetus into the university’s think tank construction through pragmatic cooperation with the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Counselor’s Office, thereby propelling the university’s development to new heights.
