On the afternoon of January 31st, Azat Atayev, Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan led a delegation to visit SUIBE. Qi Ming, Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, met with the delegation at Gubei campus. Staff members from the International Office joined the meeting.
Qi Ming warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an in-depth overview of the university's characteristics, talent cultivation programs, internationalization strategy, scientific research pursuits, and think tank development. He hopes that the visit of the deputy minister would further expand the cooperation between the university and Turkmenistan's universities and encourage more students from Turkmenistan to study and exchange in SUIBE.
Azat Atayev expressed gratitude to SUIBE’s ardent reception. He hopes that in the future, universities of the two countries would carry out more high-quality cooperation on education, and scholars of the two countries would further exchange on the research on WTO-related policies. In the future, the ministry would actively support relevant universities in Turkmenistan to establish wider cooperative relations with SUIBE and encourage more youth of Turkmenistan to know more about SUIBE.
