On the morning of January18th, the launching ceremony of a key facilities upgrade project for Songjiang campus of SUIBE was held. Video links were established between the site of the ceremony and the main venue. Qi Ming, Chairman of the University Council, attended the event on behalf of SUIBE at the main venue. Wang Rongming, SUIBE President, Wu Yi, Vice Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, Zhang Yiguo, Vice Chairman of SUIBE Council and Secretary of SUIBE Discipline Inspection Committee and Xu Yonglin, SUIBE Vice President, attended the launching ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Xu Yonglin.
Wang Rongming said in his speech that the key facilities upgrade project of Songjiang campus is an important support-winning project that has far-reaching strategic significance and important practical significance for the development of the university. The successful launch of the project has not only marked an important opening of the university’s14th Five-Year Plan, but also laid a strategic foundation for SUIBE to aim high and plan for big breakthroughs from a new starting point. Looking forward to the successful completion of the project, he urged relevant personnel to act responsibility and devote to the project, adhere to a “quality first, life first” principle, and ensure the quality of the project, thus building it into a new landmark of the Songjiang campus.
Kang Zhitian, General Manager of Shanghai Branch of China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group Co. Ltd., the general contractor of the project, said that the company would strictly follow the requirements of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Songjiang District, SUIBE and the supervisor, carry out science-based construction, strengthen safety and quality, and perform the project in a strict and high-quality way.
Along with a ground-breaking ceremony, the launching ceremony of the key facilities upgrade project of Songjiang campus was successfully completed.
