On January 16th, SUIBE’s summary meeting of scientific research for 2023 was held in Conference Room 503of the information building. Xu Yonglin, SUIBE Vice President, as well as the directors of the Personnel Office, Graduate School, Discipline Office and the heads of all schools, heads of the research institutes, think-tanks, the journal editorial office and the secretaries of scientific research from all schools attended the meeting, which was presided over by Yan Haizhou, the director of the Academic Research Office.
Xu Yonglin reviewed the scientific research work of SUIBE in 2023 and affirmed the achievements of each unit. He requested the university to pay close attention to the management of scientific research organizations, strengthen the mechanism construction, improve top-level design, and enhance the operability;to attach great importance to team development, promote the construction of a discipline leader system, and develop stable scientific research teams; to keep carrying out scientific research meeting the goals of national strategies and local economic and social development. He also stressed the importance to strengthen the university’s ability to back-feed teaching and talent cultivation with scientific research, give full play to the role of scientific research in talent cultivation, develop the scientific research potential of postgraduates, doctoral students and postdoctoral students, and create the university’s academic atmosphere.
Yan Haizhou briefed the attendees on the overall situation of SUIBE’s scientific research work in 2023 and the key work of scientific research in 2024.
