On the afternoon of December 27th, a delegation led by GaoZhigang, president of Xinjiang University of Science and Technology, and LiJianguang, vice president of Xinjiang University of Science and Technology, visited SUIBE for research and exchange. QiMing, Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, met with the delegation and welcomed them before a symposium chaired by XuYonglin, vice President of SUIBE.
On the symposium, XuYonglin briefed the delegation on the development of SUIBE. He said SUIBE has leveraged its distinctive strengths and proactively fulfilled its responsibilities, strengthening the cooperation with universities and colleges of Xinjiang in cadre support, enrollment and training, resource sharing, and special support. Positive results have been achieved, he added.
GaoZhigang introduced the history, current development and characteristics of Xinjiang University of Science and Technology. He hopes that the two sides would establish a routine communication mechanism, strengthen complementary advantages, and enhance practical cooperation in various fields centering on serving the Belt and Road Initiative, so as to better serve high-quality regional economic and social development.
