SUIBE won the national first prize in the 21stInternational Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition (hereafter referred to as “CIETAC CUP”), which was held by China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) between November 29thand December 8th in Beijing. ZhouYue and Yan Mengya, two 23rdgrade law undergraduate and graduate students of the School of Law of SUIBE, won the award of Best Debater, and Li Yimeng, a 21st-grade undergraduate student of the School of Law of SUIBE, won the award of Outstanding Contribution. The SUIBE team will compete in the Global Vis East Moot International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition to be held in Hong Kong in March 2024.
“CIETAC CUP” is an important platform of China for cultivating international legal experts. The School of Law of SUIBE has made outstanding achievements in this competition in recent years and it marked the second time for the school to win the 1st prize.
