OnOctober 28th and29th, SUIBE held the 2023 Research Seminar on Statistical Theoretical Frontiers and Application on the Gubei campus. The seminar was attended by Xu Yonglin, vice president of SUIBE, Yang Yanqing, executive vice president, Zhu Qigui, Zhang Yina, Yang Tinggan, vice president of Shanghai Statistical Institute, and Zhang Riquan, vice president of Shanghai Statistical Institute and dean of the School of Statistics and Information of SUIBE.Experts , faculties and students of and out of SUIBEattended the opening ceremony.
In his speech, XuYonglin introduced SUIBE's history and the development of the university's statistic discipline, hoping experts and scholars would focus on theoretical, methodological, and application frontiers of statistics, share research results, propose cutting-edge thinking and explore future trends, so as to promote the high-quality development of statistical research.
At the meeting, multiple experts and young scholars from, Zhejiang University, Suzhou University, SUIBE and other universities presented their latest scientific achievements.
