SUIBE Holds Set-off Ceremony for the 6th China International Import Expo Volunteers

On October 23, aset-off ceremony for the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) Volunteers was held in the 507 Lecture Hall of the Information Building onSongjiang Campus. Qi Ming, vice chairman of the University Council and vice president of SUIBE, and other leaders, as well as all SUIBE volunteers serving the CIIE, attended the ceremony.

Qi Ming held out 3 hopes at his speech. First, he hoped that the SUIBE volunteers would live up to the times and pursue their ideals with the energy of youth. Second, he encouraged them to stay true to their original aspiration and practice the spirit of SUIBE. Third, he also requested Party members and League members to stay true to their values and unite their efforts.

Situ Liyun, Chairman of the Communist Youth League SUIBE Committee, introduced the preparations made by SUIBE volunteers for the CIIE.

At the ceremony, Qi Ming presented a flag to SUIBE volunteers.

As the ceremony came to a conclusion, all the volunteers took an oath: Go for youth, Go for CIIE!
