On October 12th, the signing ceremony of astrategic cooperation agreement between SUIBE and the Shanghai Branch of the China Construction Bank Co., Ltd. (CCB Shanghai Branch), and the opening ceremony of CCB Financial Innovation Talents Class (CCB Class) were successfully held in Conference Room 503 of the Information Building of Songjiang Campus. WangRongming, SUIBE president, WuYi, vice chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, XuYonglin, SUIBE vice president, Liu Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Shanghai Branch of the China Construction Bank, Zhou Jie and Li Chaoyang, Vice Presidents of Shanghai Branch of China Construction Bank, attended the ceremony. The ceremony was also joined by 32 students of the first CCB class. The ceremony was presided over by Wu Yi.
Wang Rongming said that the signing of a new strategic cooperation agreement between SUIBE and CCB Shanghai Branch and the opening of CCB Classes are innovative measures to cultivate innovative and compound high-level financial talents. He put forward three expectations for the students of the first CCB Class.Firstly, he encouraged the students tolive up to their youth and build well their basic skills. Secondly, he encouraged the students to pursue the unity of knowledge and action and make good practice.Lastly, he expected the students to face up to difficulties and strive to develop noble characters. He hopes that the students can be determined to use what they have learned to contribute to the social and economic development of the Shanghai and China at large.
Liu Jun made a mobilization speech for the first CCB Class. He hoped that the students of the CCB Class would learn the basic knowledge and practical experience of CCB while completing the school's professional courses, and that both schools and enterprises would work together to complete the integration of production, teaching and research, build a platform for solving problems, and meet the needs of the country and society for scientific and technological talents and scientific and technological talents.He hoped that the students of the CCB Class could learn CCB's basic knowledge and practical experience while completing their courses at SUIBE. Xu Yonglin and Li Chaoyang presented the book “New Finance” to student representatives and presentedthe class flag to the first CCB Class.
