On the afternoon of September 14th, a signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement between SUIBE and China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch (Shanghai Telecom) was held in the conference room of the Shanghai Information Tower. Wang Rongming, SUIBE President, Wu Yi, vice chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, Gong Bo, Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of Shanghai Telecom, and Wang Haijian, Chief Financial Officerof Shanghai Telecomattended the ceremony.
Wang Rongming expressed gratitude for Shanghai Telecom's long-term support for SUIBE in various aspects, including the development of the university'sdigitalization and the cultivationof young cadres, as well as for their contributions to promoting cooperation and exchanges between the two sides. He introduced relevant situation of the school and looked forward to leveragethis strategic agreement as a new starting point to jointly establish a research center. Through initiatives like “Companies set requirements for talents, collaborate with schools to cultivate talents, and assess the talents”,the two sides should leveragetheir respective strengths and characteristics to engage in multi-level, wide-ranging, and practical cooperation, thereby making a joint contribution to serving national strategies and regional economic and social development.
