On the morning of May 5th, Tu Xinquan, dean of China Institute for WTO Studies (CIWTO) of the University from International Business and Economics (UIBE), and Gao Yuan, deputy Party secretary of theAcademy of China Open Economy Studies (ACOES) of UIBE paid a visit to SUIBE Gubei Campus for research and exchange. SUIBE president Wang Rongming attended aseminar with them.
Wang Rongming hoped that the two universities would carry out all-round cooperation in talent training, scientific research and think tank construction to gain far more than what their combined strengths could produce.
Tu Xinquan hoped thatthe two universities could conduct in-depth cooperation in scientific research projects, social training, international conferences and exchanges between teachers and students,relying on the Chairs Program.
The two sides had a deep discussion onstrengthening the synergy effect of the WTO Chair Program, establishing a joint cooperation mechanism of global economic and trade governance research network, enhancing internationalization capacity and carrying out personnel training for international organizations.
