Recently, the third China International Consumer Goods Fair(CICGF) was held in Haikou, Hainan Province. Yu Xuemei, Vice President of SUIBE and Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was invited by the CCTV News Channel to join a special program. Yu Xuemei shared her ideas on the global marketing of Guangxi brands assisted by the spillover effect of the CICGF, how to recoverand expand consumption in Guangxi, as well as the new opportunities brought to Guangxi by the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
Yu said that the CICGF is a great platform from which Guangxi’s local brands join the national and global markets. This year marks the 10thanniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Through comprehensive and high-quality alignment with and implementation of the RCEP, as well as the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Guangxi is working to improve boththe quality and quantity of China-ASEAN trade and investment, and fulfill its responsibility in BRI construction and building a closer China-ASEAN community with as hared future.
