On April 8thand 9th, Wu Yi,Vice Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE led a delegation to visit SUIBE alumni in Qingdao, Shandong Province as well as the enterprises set up by them. Wu Yi had a symposium with alumni representatives.
Wu Yi and the delegation visited Golden Rock founded by Class of 1986 graduate Li Hongdong and Dragon stone founded by Class of 1989 graduate Zhang Tao. They had cordial conversations with SUIBE alumni over education, innovation of enterprises, industrial development and enterprise-university-research institution cooperation. Wu Yi and the delegation alsolearned the development ofSUIBE alumni's enterprises in the post-pandemic era.
At a symposium, Wu Yi briefed the alumni on major events of SUIBE in education, and expressed his gratitude to the alumni in Shandong who were still caring about the university’s development. Wu said, SUIBE and its alumni were a community with shared sentimentsand development. In that case, alumni associations should give play to their roles in helping alumni enterprises innovate and develop, and in helping the alumni continue to study and broaden their horizon.
