On April 6th, SUIBE held the Class of 2023 graduation ceremony for graduate students in Lecture Hall 507 of the Library and Information Building on the Songjiang Campus of SUIBE. The ceremony was attended by Yin Yao, chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, Wang Rongming, SUIBE president, Qi Ming, vice chairman of the University Council and vice president of SUIBE, Wu Yi, vice chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, and Xu Yonglin, SUIBE vice president. Leaders and teachers from all schools and administrative departments as well as representatives of the Class of 2023 graduate students and alumni attended the ceremony. The ceremony was streamlined and presided over by Qi Ming.
SUIBE president Wang Rongming delivered a speech with the theme of “Striving for Excellence and Making Contribution to the country”. He extended his congratulations to all the graduates for the successful completion of their studies, and gave full recognition to their achievements. He hoped that all graduates would work hard to fulfill the mission of striving for excellence and making contribution to the country.
Wang Rongming said that graduates should continuously improve themselves and respond to the uncertainty of the world with the certainty of their own efforts, stay steadfast and tenacious and keep their feet on the ground, and become better and stronger while making contribution to their country.
Yin Yao presented representatives of graduates with “paper carving lamps”, a graduation gift prepared by SUIBE.
At the ceremony, Wu Yi and Xu Yonglin read out the lists of municipal-level and university-level outstanding graduates of master's degree programs, the list of excellent postgraduate theses and the list of postgraduates receiving masters’ degree.
At the ceremony, representative of graduates Wang Wenyan,representative of graduate student tutors Professor Qin Shujuan, and Qiu Yichuan, representative of alumni, made speeches respectively.
