Wang Rongming met with Ms. Sun Jianwei in the VIP lounge on the 5th floor of the Comprehensive Building of Gubei Campus and expressed his gratitude to Sun Jianwei for her support in the preparation of the inaugural exhibition of the museum. Ms. Sun presented the porcelain ware displayed in the inaugural exhibition, hoping that Chinese people would understand the impact of Chinese porcelain on European trade, economy, and social development and that SUIBE students would have a better understanding of porcelain culture and foreign trade.

In the “Napoleon” study exhibition hall, Sun lit the Napoleon statue table lamp, an innovative French artifact designed and manufactured in the late 19th century.  The lighting ceremony of this century-old French royal table lamp was witnessed by the attendees.
