On the morning of December 15th, SUIBE president Wang Rongming led a delegation to the Lingang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and visited Chen Jinshan, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shanghai Municipal Committee, secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of the Lingang Special Area, to report and discuss future cooperation plans between SUIBE and Lingang in the new era and new journey. Wu Xiaohua, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Lingang Special Area, attended the symposium.
Chen Jinshan extended his welcome to the SUIBE delegation. He spoke highly of the support from and new cooperation plans proposed by SUIBE, which cover many promising and targeted fields of cooperation, and expressed willingness to support the strategic cooperation between the two sides.
Wang Rongming expressed his warm congratulations on the achievements of Lingang Special Area over the past three years. He noted that it’s an obligation of SUIBE to comprehend and fulfill the requirements of a new round of high-quality development in the area. Focusing on “opening up” and “innovation,” two key words stated by Lingang, SUIBE will step up efforts for the conclusion of strategic cooperation agreements, and contribute to the high-level opening up and high-quality development of Lingang with measures such as enhancing physical research institutes, sharing platforms and resources of international organizations, conducting researches on the strategy to upgrade free trade zones and on institutional opening up.
