On the morning of December 20th, the 2022 summary and promotion conference of the Innovation & Practice Programme for the Cultivation of High-level Internationalized Talents was held online by the Ministry of Education. Wu Yi, Vice Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, attended the conference upon invitation and delivered a keynote speech themed “Reflections and Exploration on the Cultivation of High-level Internationalized Talent”.
Wu Yi introduced SUIBE’s characteristics of educational philosophy and talent training, its practice of cultivating talent for international organizations, as well as the current challenges and plans for the next stage. Since 2020, SUIBE has been exploring new modes, channels, and mechanisms of cultivating talent for international organizations, with a leading group of the program and an international organization talent training project established. SUIBE has formed a system of training professionals for international organizations characterized by the close integration of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, curriculums in Chinese, English, and French, joint programs with overseas higher education institutions and international organizations, interknitted featured courses and extracurricular activities, and mutually supporting full-time and part-time programs.
