On December 6th, the first on-site job fair for Class of 2023 graduates was held at the Songjiang Campus of SUIBE. This job fair was held at three venues, where some 80 enterprises and institutes provided more than 1,000 positions.
Party and administration leaders of SUIBE have always attached great importance to the employment of graduates. Yin Yao, Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE, Wang Rongming, president of SUIBE, Qi Ming, Vice Chairman of the University Council of SUIBE and Vice President, and heads of all schools arrived at the fob fair to make in-depth exchanges with employers and students, gaining insights into the situation of positions provided by enterprises, graduates’ demands, and the fit between college majors and career choices.
They expressed their expectation that graduates could seize the current window period of the on-site recruitment fair and make positive efforts in job-seeking.
The employment department and all schools of SUIBE were required to consolidate employment in key sectors and enterprises and expand and explore more employment resources. Moreover, departments concerned are urged to vigorously publicize local talent policies in Jiading, Qingpu, Songjiang, Fengxian, and Nanhui, the Yangtze River Delta, and other provinces and cities. Besides, practical and detailed guidance for employment should be delivered to graduates so as to enhance the effectiveness of employment assistance and boost the rate and quality of employment for Class of 2023 graduates.
