SUIBE School of Event and Communication and Shanghai Modern Industrial College of Digital Event and Culture and Tourism Inaugurated

The SUIBE School of Event and Communication and its affiliated Shanghai Modern Industrial College of Digital Event and Culture and Tourism, were inaugurated on the afternoon of December 2nd.


 


SUIBE president Wang Rongming attended the inauguration ceremony and delivered a speech. On behalf of the university, he congratulated the official inauguration of the School of Event and Communication and expressed his appreciation for the achievements made by the new school since its establishment. He said that SUIBE’s decision to establish the School of Event and Communication marked a rare historical opportunity for the university, and he hoped that the faculty and students of the school would unite and work hard to integrate resources, optimize professional layout, enrich the connotation of the school, and improve the quality of talent cultivation and discipline competitiveness, thus making new and greater contributions to building SUIBE into a world-renowned and domestically  first-class university of finance with distinctive features and high standards.



 

During the ceremony, the emblem of the School of Event and Communication was released. It consists of three parts: the name of the school in Chinese and English in the outer circle, English letters E, T, and C as the main part, and a pattern of a sailboat riding on waves. Wang Rongming presented Wang Chunlei, dean of the School of Event and Communication with the flag of the school.



  

Under the witness of Wang Rongming and Chen Jinjin, Wang Liangming, Tu Jianqing, Li Zhengwei, Wan Tao, Mu Yan, Deng Yaqiao, Wang Chunlei, and Zhu Jianming, director of SUIBE Academic Affairs Office, jointly lit up the launch logo for the Shanghai Modern Industrial College of Digital Event and Culture and Tourism, marking the official launch of the second modern industrial college of SUIBE.
