On the afternoon of November 13th, a demonstration meeting on the studies of building a high-standard free trade area network oriented to the world, a major project supported by the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC) to study and interpret the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, was held online. Professor Huang Jianzhong of SUIBE was the chief expert of the meeting.
SUIBE vice president Xu Yonglin said in his speech that major projects supported by the NSSFC are the highest-level research projects in philosophy and social science in China. This research is at the frontier of the current theoretical studies, in line with China’s national development strategy and responds to the major theoretical and practical concerns, he explained. Xu Yonglin hoped that the research group could study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and make efforts to carry out cutting-edge theoretical discussions and practical policy research, thus achieving high-level and high-quality academic and think-tank results.
Professor Huang reported in detail of the research background and ideas, and elaborated on the research framework and technical routes. He also focused on the research content, key and difficult points, expected goals, and academic innovation of sub-topics. The experts attended the meeting put forward constructive opinions and suggestions from the theoretical basis of the research topic, the cooperation among sub-topics, and the expansion of research ideas.
