SUIBE Holds International Online Forum on “Sustainable Development and FutureSocial Entrepreneurship”

SUIBE held the International Online Forum on “Sustainable Development and Future Social Entrepreneurship” on October 29th.



Qi Ming, vice chairman of the university council of  SUIBE, vice President of SUIBE and dean of the Entrepreneurship College delivered a speech on behalf of SUIBE. He proposed to pursue shared benefitsamid joint contribution, so as to achieve mutual benefit in the online collaborative education with characteristics of openness, inclusiveness anddiversity. He encouraged attendees to discoversocial issues with a loyalty to the country and people and practice such loyaltyinsolving theseissues, thus realizing the goals of ideological and political teaching and educating students in practice. He also stressed the mutual reinforcement betweenhardworkandinnovationwhich helps realize sustainable and high-quality talent cultivation.

 


Wang Tao, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Students Affairs Center said that the forum was a great feastof ideas about sustainable development and future social entrepreneurship. He hoped that the tutors of social entrepreneurs incolleges or universities could take this opportunity to spread the spirit and culture of social entrepreneurship,launch more in-depth training sessionsand international exchanges activitieson sustainable development, and fully leverage the advantages and mechanisms of theSustainable Development and Social Entrepreneurs Network (SDSEN)to attract and guide more talents working on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in the practice of sustainable development and future social entrepreneurship.

 


The SDSEN was officially established by the organizers, co-organizers and participantsat the forum.





Guests invited to a sub-forum shared their views on international experience of sustainable development, sustainable developmentpractice of social welfare organizations and practice of social entrepreneurship in university education.
