A new round of mobilization meeting onreview and evaluation and the kick-off meeting on undergraduate self-evaluationwasheld on October 25th.SUIBE president Wang Rongming andvicepresident XuYonglin attended the meeting.
On the meeting, Wang Rongming made a mobilization speech entitled Promoting SUIBE’s high-quality development with culture orientation under the new-round assessment.He calledthe new round of review and evaluationa major event for SUIBE during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), which is of great significance fordeepening the reform of undergraduate education and teaching and for accelerating the high-quality connotative development.He stressed that much efforts should be made in the following five aspects, namely, planning ahead to make improvements through evaluation, making concerted effortsin overall planning and coordination, adopting a problem-orientedapproach to advance reform, undertaking responsibility in practical work, and strengthening the publicity to boost momentum.
Prof. Zhu Yanmin, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was invited to give a special training course themed on the key points and practice of a new round of undergraduate education teaching review and evaluation.
