English (Concentration in English for International Business, and a Sino-British cooperation program)

This program, jointly run by SUIBE and the University of Central Lancashire in the UK, has introduced our partners core courses of relevant disciplines. Upon graduation, students who pass the examination required will receive both the diploma and academic degree from SUIBE and the bachelor of arts in English for international business from the University of Central Lancashire. This program aims to cultivate business professionals with strong listening, speaking, reading, writing, translating and cross-cultural business communication skills, and cross-cultural business communication skills in English, a good understanding of the basic theory and knowledge of international trade, a good knowledge of international business practices, and mastery of a second foreign language (Japanese or French).

SUIBE and the University of Central Lancashire offer the main courses. Those from the SUIBE include Integrated English; English Viewing, Listening, and Speaking; English for Import and Export Correspondence; Business English Interpretation; International Commercial Law; Practice of International Trade; Principles of Economics; Second Foreign Language (Japanese or French). And the courses offered by the University of Central Lancashire include Introduction to English for International Business, Introduction to Business, Introduction to Marketing, Project English, Study and Communication, Intermediate English for International Business, Business and Management Practice, English for International Business Enterprise, Intercultural Business Communication, International Finance, Principles of Human Resource Development, Globalization and Business in International Cooperate Communication, Global Business Advertising, and Advanced English for International Business.
